I won’t be able to say enough about Rachel & Evans’s amazingly fun South Bend wedding. Some of my favorite cool things about it: 

1) She got ready in her childhood bedroom

2) Her family has chickens

3) She wore a re-worked version of her mom’s dress (the ruffly part on the waist used to be a sleeve!)

4) I almost missed the first few shots of the first look because Rachel decided to sprint at her groom

5) Most of their portraits are complete candids because they are just THAT in love (“I can’t get that close to his face and NOT kiss him!”)

6) He casually helped her down from a ledge during their sunset session and it looked like a fairy tale

7) THEY HAVE THE COOLEST LOVE STORY I HAVE EVER HEARD. Okay. Seriously. Listen. The groom is the brother of the bride’s CHILDHOOD BEST FRIEND. Follow that? So the MOH was the sister of the groom and best friend of the bride. I can’t get over it. So…when Rachel and her best friend were 13 years old and dreamed of becoming real-life sisters one day………well IT HAPPENED. The mother-of-the-groom gave a speech at the rehearsal dinner and was able to tell stories about Rachel when she was in high school and I just died. So cute, you guys. I can’t.
